Your InstaKit is ready.
Download the kit, pick your setup below, and you'll have your first branded carousel in one session.
What is InstaKit?
InstaKit turns a Facebook post, email, or article into a finished seven-slide Instagram carousel as PNG files, ready to post, built to your visual style.
It starts by reading your Instagram feed, and looks at what you already posted: your colour palette, your fonts, what your covers look like. From there it takes the copy you give it, writes carousel slides, and then turns them into PNG files using what it learned from your Instagram feed.
You will need a Claude or ChatGPT subscription for this to work.
InstaKit Download
The button downloads a folder onto your computer. The instructions below explain how to use it.
Download freeGive InstaKit a home
This is the same regardless of which AI tool you use.
- Download and unzip. Double-click the zip to unzip it into a normal folder.
- Move it somewhere permanent. Put it in Documents, or a folder you won't accidentally delete. Do not work out of the zip and do not leave it in Downloads.
Open it in your AI tool
InstaKit itself is free, but you need a paid Claude or ChatGPT subscription.

Follow the prompts
InstaKit will guide you through the rest. Here's what it'll ask for:
- Your Instagram URL. It reads your feed to pick up your colour palette, fonts, and the style of your existing posts.
- The content you want to repurpose. Paste in a Facebook post, email, or article. Whatever you want to turn into a carousel.
- Your fonts. It will make an educated guess based on your Instagram feed. If you have specific brand fonts, you can upload them and it will use the real thing.
- Any photos you want to include. You can upload images directly, or drop them into the InstaKit folder and tell it to use them.
- That's it. Once it's finished, it will build the slides and save them into the output subfolder inside your InstaKit folder.
If you get stuck
- It keeps asking permission for every action
- Both Claude Code and the Codex app ask you to approve each step before running it by default. This is fine but gets repetitive. To let it work without interrupting you, look for the mode selector at the bottom of the chat window and switch it from Ask to Auto. It will still show you everything it does — it just won't pause and wait for your approval each time.
- It can't see a file
- Make sure you unzipped the folder and that it is fully downloaded on this machine. Open the correct project folder, not a zip or a cloud placeholder.
- The slides won't export as PNGs
- The PNG export uses a small tool called Node.js that needs to be installed on your computer. Ask the AI: "Can you check if Node.js is installed and set up Playwright for me?" It will check and walk you through the fix.
- The slides don't look like my brand
- Go back to Step 2 of the process and share your Instagram URL again and let InstaKit re-read your feed. If you have a brand font, drag the .ttf file into the chat and it will use the real thing.
This is one small piece of what's possible.
InstaKit is a taster. A Business Brain does this for every part of your marketing: content repurposing, social, email, SEO.
